Grand Prix Chantal Biya: Team Rwanda Rolls For 95,9 Km Stage I #rwanda #RwOT

At exactly 10AM central African time, TeamRwanda in a pool of ten professional cycling teams are getting flagged off to pedal a 95,9 Km-stage I of the prestigious 20th Grand Prix Chantal Biya race in Cameroon.

The Rwandan flag will be illuminated to the entire world by Rnus Byiza Uhiriwe, Patrick Byukusenge, Moïse Mugisha and Didier Munyaneza led by former Tour du Rwanda champions Joseph Areruya and Samuel Mugisha.

The organizer Cameroon Cycling Federation (FECACYCLISME), has programmed this the race with a closed circuit in the city of Douala (spanning 95.9km).

Team Rwanda Head Coach Felix Sempoma earlier said, ''We're a good team with some experience and young energetic riders. We prepared well,' he said, adding that he was optimistic about putting up a good fight.

Second stage

This will take place along the Akonolinga-Abong-Mbang highway (139.5km),

Third Stage

For this is set from Yaounde to Ebolowa (Nkolandom) (167km).

Fourth stage

Riders will pedal from Zoétélé town-Nkwang-Meyomessala (116.4km)

Stage 5

As the last lap, it will see riders pedaling along the Sangmelima-Yaounde highway (166km).
