Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority has revised downwards transport tariffs that are expected to improve movement of people and scale up business activities.
According to Patrick Nyirishema the Director General of RURA, under the new tariff, every kilometre will be charged Frw21 for upcountry routes. While within Kigali, every kilometre is being charged frw 22.
The new tariff is scheduled for implementation effective Friday October 23rd.
