Denise Tshisekedi sait this in Preventing Sexual Violence Conflict Initiative Conference (PSVI) held in England. The conference organized by the British government, which started on November 28, 2022, with the participation of various officials.
When she was addressing the conference participants from around the world, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, said that her country was attacked by an armed group, supported by Rwanda and behind the millions of deaths in Congo.
The First Lady of Congo said that there is gender-based violence in her country, but she also expressed her country's position in preventing it.
Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi said that women and girls continue to be subjected to violence in her country by those who want the country's wealth.
'My country is counting millions of deaths, including girls, due to acts of violence. That goes hand in hand with looting the country's economy. An unjust war was waged on my country by a terrorist group supported by Rwanda' Denise Nyakeru said.

It is not the first time that Congo accuses Rwanda of causing it. In September this year, the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Félix Tshisekedi, accused Rwanda of hidden provocation in the M23, in a speech he delivered to the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) in New York.
Tshisekedi said that although his country has a good will to live in peace with its neighbors, some of them have nothing better to thank us for than provocations and helping armed groups that are doing terrorism in the east of DR Congo.
He accused Rwanda that since the third month of this year, it has again provoked his country by helping the rebel group M23 in the form of equipment and soldiers, which violates international law, the basic principles of the UN and of the Community. African Union (AU).
Rwanda and the M23 group have always denied Congo's accusations.
Until now, although the relationship between the two countries is not good, the process of dialogue between the two sides has started with the participation of the President of Angola, Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço.
